A collage of film excerpts and musical pieces developed for The Reading Room for the Working Artist (2003–2004), in collaboration with Réjean Myette.
This work serves as a mini-archive of classical film excerpts embedded in our collective memory—some unforgettable cinematic moments that have stayed with us, others reimagined to shape a narrative reflecting life itself: you are born (as in the beginning of David Copperfield, read by Oskar Werner in Fahrenheit 451), you grow up, you develop, and you become someone.

Cette œuvre se présente comme une mini-archive d’extraits de films classiques ancrés dans notre mémoire collective — certains moments cinématographiques inoubliables restés avec nous, d’autres réimaginés pour construire un récit réflétant la vie elle-même : on naît (comme dans le début de David Copperfield, lu par Oskar Werner dans Fahrenheit 451), on grandit, on se développe, et on devient quelqu’un.
